When you turn the key or push a button to start a car, the battery sends electricity to the starter motor which signals the crankshaft to start turning. Most commonly, this will be the battery or the alternator. If it's 12.5ish volts it should be fine.
If so starter is possibly bad,lets trouble shoot your problem.suggest you check the fuses under hood in black box,make sure those are good. I have tried jump starting, to no avail. Joined may 24, 2010 14 posts.
